A Snail's Pace - This photo was taken out in the garden in Kenmore, Washington. 2016 was the "Year of the Snail." They were everywhere and on everything. You had to watch you step to make sure you wouldn't step on any if the ground was damp.
A View Thru the Rain - This photo was taken on our front deck in Kenmore, Washington. The green wire is actually a tomato cage. The rain had accumulated on the wire to form drops and the view through the drops was showed part of the neighborhood.
Abandoned - This photo was taken in Maupin, Oregon at a hotel I had stopped at for the night. I saw the volley ball court and this solitary ball was just sitting there unused and beat up. It made me wonder when it was last used.
After the Rain - This photo was taken in Kenmore, Washington in our front garden. The leaf is on an Iris plant and the rain had beaded up on its surface.
Autumn Leaf - This photo was taken in Kenmore, Washington in our backyard. This leaf had fallen to the ground and everything was covered with morning dew.
Autumn Tree - This photo was taken in the Mount Rainier National Park. This one tree was turning colors while it was surrounded by evergreens laden with grey lichen. The contrast between them caught my eye.
Bandit - This photo was taken in our backyard in Kenmore, Washington. The raccoon was sitting way up in a weeping willow tree that we had. He kept a wary eye on me while I took his picture.
