The 4 terminal wiring block is designed to be used inside of a more traditional electronics bay. It provides four wiring posts that use 6-32 machine screws as posts and includes separator walls to minimize the possibility of a short between posts. The block was designed to keep wires in place by using posts rather than the more traditional screw barrier strips. This should make construction, field wiring and changes easier and provide for more reliable connections. The included machine screws will allow for two to three standard ring terminals to be be put on each post, but longer screws can be purchased from a hardware store to create a longer post. You could even have the longer screws start from under the sled to provide connections below also as long as your sled in non-metallic.
It can be used on any type of sled and is mounted in place by using 4-40 machine screws (not included). The wiring block can be mounted by following the guide in the drill template #2 and only requires a 1/8" drill bit.
